How to hide & display input fields conditionally ?
There may be many occasions when an input field may not be required or may be required on certain conditions only. GS2Web Calculator has reserved last column of the calculator template for placing formula to hide the input fields.
Points to remember for hiding input fields
- Rules for hiding is to be written in last column of template titled RULES
- Conditional hiding works for Group Button, Select ,Radio button & group Box type inputs
- First write the Condition ,then comma and then Field No (row number minus one) , For example Pound , 5 which means if user selects Pound, hide 5th input filed which is in row 6 (5+ 1) because row starts from 1 , but input fields starts from 2. See image below
- You can hide one or many input fields.
